JOY in Surrender!

Letting go, emptying yourself, surrendering all…

These are not natural responses but with a God so good, when you act on the convictions of the Holy Spirit, you will be blessed, filled with hope, and fueled by faith to press on.

Trusting God, knowing he is faithful and just, that he hasn’t failed you and his promises remain true, will lead you to wholeness.

I pray that laying down your burdens, sins, achievements, and dreams for your life will allow you to have a deep sigh of relief , as you breathe in his peace and breathe out the pressures of this world. Pour out the murky water and be filled with the Living Water, thirst no more and may it overflow to those around you that you reflect Christ to all you encounter!

Don’t let this world fill you with doubts and try to silence you! Cry out to Jesus, throw down your cloak & Surrender ALL because There is JOY in Surrender!

“Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” So they called to the blind man, “Cheer up! On your feet! He’s calling you.” Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus. “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked him. The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.” “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.”

Daughter of the King, which makes me a Princess in God's Kingdom! I am also a wife to an incredibly sweet and goofy man of God. I am a social worker by trade and compassionate servant to help in the healing of mind and spirit through God's gifts to me and connecting vulnerable people to the source of HOPE and LOVE, Jesus Christ! I love to write, sing, color/draw/paint, take photos of nature and capture moments of joy in life. I am passionate about the mental health and overall well-being of children, teens, and young adults because I know what it is like to struggle through life and faith in dark times. Looking forward to providing this blog as a source of light that Christ has so graciously given me to shine to represent him! The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it. -John 1:5 NLT
